The Casper Ghosts are the Advanced-Rookie Affiliate of the 2007 National League Champion Colorado Rockies. They play in the Pioneer League with teams from Utah, Idaho and Montana. Five former Casper players played on the Colorado Rockies 2007 World Series team. |

The Ghosts play 38 of their 76 games in Casper at scenic Mike Lansing Field. The Casper Ghosts 2008 Regular Season runs from June 17th to September 5th. The Wyoming Cavalry is Casper's Professional Indoor Football Team. The Cavalry provides the ultimate in inexpensive family entertainment. They serve as sports ambassadors and role models in addition to providing quality indoor football action. |

| In volleyball and basketball, the Casper College Thunderbirds play in the beautifully renovated Erickson Thunderbird Gymnasium, named in honor of the legendary Hall of Fame coach Swede Erickson. As many as 2,500 fans attend home games and matches to cheer on their teams. The campus features three residence halls, two gymnasiums and a new fitness center. In addition to volleyball and basketball, students participate in rodeo and cheerleading as well. | |||||||||

| The City of Casper maintains a large number of public spaces with different amenities and equipment available for free or at a low cost. | The Platte River Parkway is a community trail system that runs east to west through Casper from the North Casper Soccer Complex to Paradise Valley Park. There are abundant outdoor recreation opportunities in Natrona County. Visit the Bureau of Land Management for more information. |

| • There are two public and two private golf courses in Casper. The Casper Golf Club is open from April 1st to November 1st. The facility includes a full service PGA staffed golf shop, a large practice range, putting and chipping greens, and the clubhouse is home to the 19th Hole Restaurant & Lounge. Tee times are available one day in advance by calling the Pro Shop for reservations. • The Three Crowns Golf Club is built on a former Amoco Oil Refinery site in Casper, Wyoming along the North Platte River. The golf course is built atop a remediation project that will be ongoing. The whole site is known as the Platte River Commons which consists of a golf course, business park, jogging trail, and parks, on approximately 350 acres of total area. • The Paradise Valley Golf Club and The Casper Country Club, (4149 Country Club Rd, Casper, WY 82609-3925, P: (307) 265-0767) are members only facilities.
